Chadwick Boseman-inspired masterclass to debut at Howard University – Everett Post

Chadwick BosemanHoward University’s alma mater honored the late actor last week by naming their newly formed College of Fine Arts after him, but that’s not all.

The President of the University, Wayne Frederick, announced to TMZ that it will be launching a masterclass template that was endorsed by Boseman himself before he passed away last year.

The curriculum aims to help fine arts college students familiarize themselves with their specific fields of study by working with industry professionals who can share real-world experiences.

Howard will also incorporate his guest lectures into daily learning and coursework on campus.

Frederick tells the gossip website that Boseman wanted to help lead the program and signed the papers to get it started. The university president certifies that the late Black Panther star is also active in the program.

The Cosby Show alum Phylicia Rashad, who was recently appointed dean of the school, will reportedly lead the new master class.

Boseman died last August after a private battle with colon cancer. He was 43.
