Dennis Warren Obituary (2021) – Midland, MI

Dennis Lee Warren
Dennis Lee Warren, 67, of Midland, died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 27, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center.
Dennis did everything he wanted in life and, by all accounts, was successful. He and Teresa (Westbrook) were married for 47 years, built a successful business (Midland Chemical Company), raised three children, all of whom graduated from college, married and had eleven grandchildren. He’s had the same best friend since high school. He traveled the world, loved diving, enjoyed skydiving, drove fast and told stories.
He seemed happiest when telling stories. His voice would get louder. When he made eye contact with everyone in the room, his eyes would fill with laughter before he hit the punchline, and his hands and arms moved wildly in great movements. He slid onto the edge of his seat as he told one incredible but true story after another. He spent time alone with each grandchild whenever he could to make sure each one felt special.
As Dennis neared his death, he reminded his children and grandchildren, one at a time, that what counts is what you do for God. He expressed real excitement about going to Heaven. He was convinced of his goal and his real wish was that every friend and family member would know the same thing.
He is missing from his wife Teresa; Son David (Maria) Warren of Midland; Daughters, Dee-Anna (Scott) Janku from Vancouver, Washington, and Danielle (Dwayne) Cuddie from Easley, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren, Grace Janku, Brendan Warren, Kirsten Warren, Micah Janku, Riley Cuddie, Jackson Cuddie, Elijah Janku, Carson Warren, Gideon Janku, Leah Janku and Grayson Warren; Brothers Duane Warren and Darrell (Joy) Warren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In death he was preceded by his parents Oscar and Mary (Arnold) Warren; Sister Denise Warren; and brother Dale Warren.
Dennis’s funeral will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 6100 Perrine Road, Midland.
