The city of Spokane offers three licenses for rent
- “For-Hire Driver” is any driver associated with a Transportation Network Company (TNC) or taxi company. Popular examples of TNCs are Uber and Lyft.
- “For-Hire Operator” is a legal person or individual, such as B. Taxi companies and transportation network companies that partner with hired drivers to provide hired transportation services.
- “For-Rent Vehicle” is any vehicle used to carry passengers for compensation on the streets of Spokane City.
