Discovery Health MD is a northwest company providing COVID-19 testing and vaccination to individuals, communities and businesses both directly and through partnership with state and local health organizations.

“We pushed for tests in different regions of the state. We know that there have been extremely high rates of positivity in some areas and our teams are motivated to do everything in our power to improve access, ”said Pulse.

SRHD asked the DOH for assistance with COVID-19 testing in Spokane County a few weeks ago. Health officer Dr. Francisco Velázquez stated that given the high transmission rates in our community and the already exhausted health and public health resources, additional test sites are needed to ease the burden on test providers.

“We are grateful to have the support of Discovery Health MD and Spokane Falls Community College to help our community with much-needed COVID-19 testing,” said Velázquez. “These websites will give our community members easy access to tests and real-time results.”

A second location is planned for the Spokane Valley. Location details are still in progress and will be shared with the community as they become available.
