The Portland School Board suspended its session Tuesday and moved it to a virtual environment after numerous participants protesting a proposed vaccination mandate for students refused to wear masks at the county headquarters.
Security officials approached unmasked demonstrators one by one and asked them to comply with the state’s indoor mask mandate.
