September 14

2:00 am: A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle after observing several traffic violations. Officers quickly realized the occupants of the vehicle were elderly, clearly lost and should not be operating a vehicle. Officers were able to locate contact information for a family member who was able to pick the subjects up and take them back to their Senior Living home in Vancouver, Washington, after being medically cleared by Canby Fire. A Driver Evaluation Request was later submitted to the Washington State Department of Licensing.

8:09 pm: Officers respond to a report of a possible domestic disturbance. S Elm St.

9:50 pm: Report of harassment / threat. Responding Officer found incident related to a dispute between neighbors over a noise complaint and was able to assist by providing dispute resolution options.

10:38 pm: An uninsured vehicle with an expired registration, being driven by a suspended driver, was impounded. Hwy 99E at Barlow Rd.

September 15

1:18 pm: Report of a theft from vehicle. S Pine St.

3:02 pm: Officers respond to traffic crash. S Arndt Rd.

4:41 pm: Report of theft and identity theft after a victim’s wallet was stolen from their purse while shopping at Fred Meyer and later found their debit and credit cards were used at Wilsonville Target.

September 16

12:25 am: Received call that Port of Portland had recovered a vehicle stolen out of Canby on 9/12/21; Officer notified victim. S Redwood St.

7:56 am: Report of theft and identity theft after a victim’s purse was stolen while shopping at Fred Meyer on September 15 around 2 pm and the victim later found that her credit card was used at the Wilsonville Target.

9:37 am: Response to a report of harassment / threat resulted in unwanted subject trespassed from a medical clinic. SE 1st Ave.

11:47 am: Report of theft of equipment box from work vehicle. Victim later advised the missing equipment had been recovered in the middle of S Hwy 99E and must have fallen out of his truck.

1:57 pm: During a traffic enforcement detail in Oregon City, Officers responded to assist Oregon City PD with traffic crash. Hwy 213 / Beavercreek Rd.

2:28 pm: During a traffic enforcement detail in Oregon City, a Canby Officer conducted a traffic stop on an uninsured vehicle with an expired registration. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was cited for

7:15 pm: Officers respond to a report of criminal mischief in progress after caller states suspect was on their property destroying plants; subject was located and asked to leave as victim did not want to pursue charges. S Ivy Ct.

September 17

9:39 am, Report of theft and identity theft after the reporting party realized their wallet had been stolen while shopping at Fred Meyer on September 15 and that their credit card had been used at the Wilsonville Target.

1:16 pm, Subject arrested on an outstanding Clackamas County Warrant. SW 1st Ave.

September 18

9:02 pm: A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for suspicion of illegal alteration or display of plates. The driver was issued a citation for the violation of illegal alteration or display of plates and driving while suspended. The driver was also issued a criminal citation for using an invalid license. SE 1st Ave.

8:33 pm: Driver arrested for DUII. SW 1st Ave.

September 19

12:04 am: Response to a report of a person violating a no-contact order by sending text messages to the victim. N Pine St.

8:06 pm: Officer responded to assist Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic crash. Hwy 170.

September 20

5:24 am: Response to a report of unwanted subject; subject was trespassed from location. N Elm St.

11:04 am: Driver arrested for DUII. S Ivy St.

1:55 pm: Juvenile was cited for minor in possession of tobacco, minor in possession of marijuana and delivery of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was released to parents. SE Township Rd.

7:07 pm: Response to a report of domestic disturbance. Subject was arrested for assault and menacing. S Elm St.
