Man ran onto I-5 in Everett, hit, killed by semi-truck

The Mill Creek man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died. He was 33.

EVERETT – A Mill Creek man died Tuesday night after driving onto I-5 in Everett and being hit by a semi-trailer, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Witnesses saw Jacob M. Roberts, 33, just after 5 p.m. on the right shoulder of I-5 southbound, south of 128th Street SW. According to a note from the state police, he ran into the middle of the autobahn, where the truck hit him.

Roberts suffered serious injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died.

No arrests were made.
