Frontier Conference Championship in Dillon

Montana Tech runners will be looking for trips to the NAIA National Championships when they converge at Beaverhead Golf Course.

The first-placed teams and promotion to the national team meet. In addition, the top four who do not qualify for a team will attend the meeting on November 19 in Vancouver, Washington.

The # 16 Oredigger women took second place at the Frontier Conference Preview Meet on the same course in September. Tech’s Becca Richtman won the race.

In the men’s category, Oredigger River Sheppard took third place and led the Orediggers to second place.

Montana Tech at MSU North, 6 p.m.

The No. 17 Orediggers complete the regular season on the High Line.

The Orediggers (20-8 total, 6-3 Frontier Conference) swept the skylights when the teams met in Butte on October 9th. Northern, however, took a five-set win from the Orediggers in the non-conference Frontier Conference Preview tournament in Havre.

The skylights enter the game with 14:11 in the overall standings and 3: 5 in the conference.

NA3HL ice hockey
Butte at Badlands, 7:05 p.m.

The Cobra travels to Rapid City, South Dakota to stay hot when they face the Badlands Sabers in the NA3HL Frontier Division game.

Butte (5-9-2) defeated Great Falls and Bozeman at home last week. The Sabers (4-7-1) and Cobras share from the 8th-9th October a weekend at the Roosevelt Park Ice Arena. The teams will meet again on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

The next home game of the Cobras is on November 13th against Helena.
