Gallery: Everett host to Silver Lake Regatta mini hydroplane races

The Seattle Outboard Association’s Silver Lake Regatta is held at Thornton A. Sullivan Park in Everett.
The Seattle Outboard Association hosted their Silver Lake Regatta this weekend after last year’s annual seaplane races at Silver Lake, south Everett, were canceled due to COVID-19. Since 1954 there has been an annual one-day regatta on Silver Lake. This year’s regatta had everything from 9-year-olds starting their first seaplane races to big names like Albert Lee Cup winner J. Michael Kelly. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, the spectators braved the rain to watch and assist the racers.
