NAIA National Championships in Vancouver, Washington, 12:30 p.m.

The field will consist of 36 teams and 88 individuals as the Montana Tech women compete against each other on the national stage.

Tech, who is only in its sophomore year on a cross-country program, goes into the NAIA number 21 meeting. Senior Becca Richtman leads a young roster at the NAIA National Championship. Richtman took first place in three of the four games and was voted NAIA Runner of the Week twice this season.

Tech coach Zach Kughn said his team is good to go.

“I believe our women are physically and mentally prepared to perform well at the highest level, and I can’t wait to see them run,” said Kughn. “This is a huge experience considering that all but two of our runners are newbies and have three more chances to return to this meeting. Our focus is definitely on Friday because we plan to be here year after year. ”
