Women warriors play Spokane to goalless soccer game | Walla Walla Community College

The Walla Walla Community College women’s soccer team and the Spokane visit played a goalless draw on the WWCC pitch on Wednesday afternoon, April 28th.

Three weeks ago, the Warriors and Sasquatch ended their first Northwest Athletic Conference Eastern Region encounter of the season in Spokane with one goal apiece.

Walla Walla overtook Spokane 8-5. Emmy Williams and Brielle Schneider led the Warriors with two shots each.

Callie Baker, Lyndsey Ellingsen, Paige Savage and Mallory Hemenway all had a shot for the WWCC.

The Sasquatch doubled the Warriors’ corner. Spokane started four against Walla Wallas two.

Warrior goalkeeper Josey Gunter was credited with five saves that day. Sasquatch Net Minder Kiah Gary made four saves.

Walla Walla’s next game is Saturday May 1st in Treasure Valley.
