MyEverettNews.com spoke to Everett Police this morning, who tell us there were no known injuries, but they recovered more than twenty cartridge cases after gunfire exchanged on the 2800 block of Rockefeller Saturday night.
Everett Police Spokeswoman Kerby Duncan tells us the investigation is still ongoing, but the first report was that two people passed each other near the corner of Hewitt and Rockefeller just after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night. One of the two commented on the jewelry a man was wearing and words were exchanged. The two people were driving north on Rockefeller when at least one of them turned and fired shots at the person near the corner. This person took out a gun and shot back at the two people at the end of the block. The two are said to have run. Incoming officers confiscated a gun from the first man and collected over twenty cartridge cases on Rockefeller between Hewitt and California. Again, no people were hit and the officers are continuing to investigate.
