Shooting reported at LA County fire station, suspect at large: Sheriff – Everett Post

(LOS ANGELES) – A gunman is at large after a shooting at a fire station in southern California was reported Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The shots were reported at 10:53 a.m. local time at Los Angeles County Fire Station 81 in Agua Dulce, according to the sheriff.

The police are looking for the alleged shooter.

With a heavy heart, the LACoFD confirms that a tragic shootout occurred today at around 10:55 a.m. on FS 81 in Agua Dulce. The Dept. is still in the process of gathering additional information and is cooperating with Law Enf. during this ongoing incident. (1/2)

There is also a fire in a house that allegedly belongs to the suspect, the sheriff’s department said. The Los Angeles County Fire Department said they are preventing any units from responding to fight the fire because the suspect’s current whereabouts are unknown and they will not fight the fire until the house is determined to be safe.
