Pavelski’s two goals, which earned him 15 for the season, came straight from the net. It was his fourth two-goal game this season, all in their last 16 games.

In the middle of the first third, Miro Heiskanen shot close to the blue line just to the left of the net, then bounced off the boards hard and was hit by Pavelski. The stars regained their two-goal lead when Isa Lindell passed to Pavelski just before goal towards the end of the second period.

Robertson has six goals and 11 assists in the home series. Including the road, he has accumulated points in a total of eight games in a row, with five goals and seven assists.

Seattle tied 1-1 in the first third with 11:35 minutes when Marcus Johansson made a pass from the side to Jarnkrok in front. Pavelski scored the tiebreaker goal about 2 1/2 minutes later and the Stars led the rest of the way.

Defender Jamie Oleksiak was the player Seattle took from the Stars in the expansion draft. A video of Oleksiak highlights with Dallas was shown during the game’s first break and he got a nice ovation when shown on the Seattle bench and he applauded the fans from there. Oleksiak made 286 regular season games for Dallas over nine seasons after being 14th overall in the 2011 draft.
