The takeaway food collaboration “Savor the Couve” went into week 10, raising more than $ 77,000 for local restaurants and nonprofits in the greater Vancouver area and delivering hundreds of dinners. The Greater Vancouver Chamber (GVC) encourages the community to continue supporting this program every Thursday through the end of February.

Produced by GVC and Visit Vancouver Washington, Savor the Couve has been collaborating with 35 local restaurants since November 2021 to serve up to 150 five-course meals for two each week, with each order curated and prepared for take-away enjoyment Them for $ 125. $ 25 of every order purchased will be donated to another nonprofit in the area. Presented by ilani and supported by Columbia Credit Union, this 16-week program was brought back to popular demand after a successful opening year in 2020. For many companies, “Savor the Couve” was a lifeline to keep their doors open in the midst of the pandemic. “That gives us the opportunity to feed 300 people. Savor the Couve is a takeaway dinner at local restaurants created in response to the pandemic to support local restaurants and nonprofits.
