With the victory, the Indians (33-38) retained a share of third place in the table with Vancouver. Tri-City fell to 27-43.

Decolati led from ninth place with a line drive single to right-off reliever Matthias Dietz, then Michael Toglia made a field error. A wild pitch allowed both runners to move up and Hunter Stovalls fly to medium deep left decolati.

Stephen Jones (1-0) hit a 1-2-3 lower half to complete the win.

The Indian starter Helcris Olivarez allowed three runs with three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts. He withdrew the last seven thugs he faced.

The Dust Devils came on in the first inning. Livan Soto started with a walk, came second with a balk, came third with a single from Carlos Herrera and scored with a victim fly from Adrian Rondon.

TC made it 3-0 in the third. Spencer Griffin led the frame with his second homer of the season and two strokes later Jordyn Adams also went low, his fifth.

Spokane answered on the fourth. Jack Blomgren was hit by TC starter Ryan Smith to start the inning and he passed on an Aaron Schunk triple.

Decolati left and while Toglia hit in a double game, Schunk could score.

The Indians closed it on the seventh. Brenton Doyle delivered a one-out double, then a pass from catcher Franklin Torres resulted in a catcher throwing error that allowed Doyle to score.

The series ends on Sunday at 6:05 p.m.
