Measles case prompts testing at Sea-Tac, Seattle Children’s Hospital

SEATTLE, Wash. – Some SeaTac travelers are being asked to get themselves tested, but not for COVID-19.

Snohomish County Health officials announced in a press release that an infant recently tested positive for the measles.

The child had been at SeaTac this past Saturday, February 19th, and at Seattle Children’s Hospital on Sunday, February 20th.

Health officials say that anyone who may have been at those locations and develops symptoms should contact their health care provider immediately.
