Face Coverings Now Required In All City Of Everett Buildings

How long the new mandate will be in force is not yet known.

Earlier last week, the city of Everett, Washington announced that all visitors to both library branches must wear face-covering, whether or not they are vaccinated.

On Friday, Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin extended this ordinance to all buildings in the City of Everett.

Here is the message she posted on Facebook.

The Delta variant of COVID-19 is causing a rapid surge in infections and hospital admissions across the state, including here in Everett. In order to guarantee the health and safety of our employees and visitors, we are now requiring masks to be worn in all city buildings. Be safe and healthy.
