Everett Arnold Sine, Jr., 79, of Fairview, WV, died at Ruby Memorial Hospital on July 8, 2021 after a long illness.
He was born at home in Jakes Run, WV, on September 8, 1942, to the late Everett A. Sine, Sr. and stepmother Ruth and Ellen Summers and stepfather Wesley Carl Jarvis.
On December 27, 1963, he married Betty Lou Shriver, who preceded him in death on May 22, 2021.
He was a retired miner from the Loveridge Coal Mine in Fairview, WV. He was a police officer for Monongalia County in the late 1960s. At a young age he was a former truck driver who mainly transported cattle. He loved riding horses and buggies. He leaves behind children, Joseph Everett Thompson and his wife Nicki from Alabama, Betty Jo Little Woodling from Texas, Everett A. Sine III and his mate Beth Lewis from Jakes Run, Bobbie Jo Sine from Morgantown and Edward A. Sine and his wife Ysuara from Jakes Run; Grandsons, Ashley, Brittney, Steven, Reno, Kristina, Alex and Dheaglan; Great-grandchildren, Tristan, Sophia, Aubrey, Scarlet, Kayden, Nasir, Kristopher, and Takota; Sister Carla Rogers and her husband Larry of Morgantown; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bailey and husband Roger; Brothers Jack Wayne Sine, Kenneth Kyle Sine, and Charles Lloyd Jarvis; and a grandson, Tommy.
Family welcomes friends to the Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
