Everett High students walk out over sexual harassment

Everett High students go out about sexual harassment

EVERETT – Last week Everett High students marched to raise awareness of sexual harassment and gathered to be heard.
A student who contacted the Tribune and other media outlets said the strike was organized because incidents of sexual assault were suppressed and harassment “slapped” in the face.
On Thursday, December 16, numerous students left the Everett High campus and marched through parts of northern downtown before meeting in Clark Park near the pavilion. It appears that the walk was organized after a school meeting on sexual harassment was poorly received by the student audience as described.
An Instagram account “@ ehswalkout2021” tells examples of harassment.
