Anthony Misiewicz finally pitching better for the Seattle Mariners

Anthony Misiewicz was fantastic for the Seattle Mariners last season but struggled last month and became an unreliable option for Scott Servais from the pen. In May he allowed 16 hits and 12 runs.

This month, the 26-year-old Reliever has done a lot better and looks like the 2020 version of himself.

Anthony Misiewicz is finally shooting it for the Seattle Mariners

In June “Misi” appeared in 10 games and only allowed eight hits. In May it allowed double the number of accesses. Limiting hits clearly helped Anthony limit the damage as he only allowed three runs, which equates to an ERA of 2.53.

Also, Anthony Misiewicz only ran one batter this month, compared to six in May. This tells me that his control was much better and is probably a big reason why his allowed strokes are fewer.

The young helper also painted 14 doughs this month, proving that his stuff is still effective. Misiewicz now also has a 0.84 WHIP as of June.

Michigan State University’s product has lowered its ERA to 4.60 and its WHIP to 1.33, which is a significant improvement given its start to the season.

The Seattle Mariners need Anthony Misiewicz to maintain his current form

Anthony was one of the standouts out of last year’s bullpen and I bet Scott Servais wants to be able to trust him like he did last season. The Seattle Mariners have a few spots on the injured list, so we need every little help from the bullpen.

Erik Swanson and Justin Dunn are still in rehab and Hector Santiago could be suspended for 10 games if the league finds he has violated the Foreign Substance Policy.

In addition to the various injuries, Will Vest and Rafael Montero failed to meet pre-season expectations, which also affects the Bullpen’s overall ability. Let’s hope that Anthony Misiewicz will keep up the high-profile appearances because we need him.
