KANSAS CITY, Mon. – Persistence best describes the top of the latest NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coach Surveypublished Thursday by the NAIA National Office. The order remained the same for positions 1 to 17.

the 2021 NAIA Cross Country Championships are scheduled for Friday, November 19, at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington.

Cross-country surveys and rankings

Francis (fig.) still # 1. The Saints ‘top runners took a break last week to declare St. Francis’ third place at the Bethel Invitational just a week after doing the best NAIA program at the Live in Lou Classic.

Milligan (Tenn.) remains in second place, right after a strong second place in the Royals Challenge, on the same course on which the Buffs won the Queen City Invitational two weeks earlier. Lemi Wutz from Milligan was awarded 4th place as NAIA Athlete of the Week.

Remaining in places No. 3 and No. 4 are Cornerstone (Mich.) and Taylor (Ind.), respectively Both teams took a week off from racing after being the second and third best teams at Live in Lou Classic.

Holy Mary (Kan.) retains position # 5 after finishing second in gold at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open.

To complete the top 10 are No. 6 The Master (California), No. 7 from Aquin (Mich.), No. 8 Montreal (NC), No. 9 College of Idaho and No. 10 Southern Oregon.
