Woman injured after attack at Clark Park in Everett

The woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for her injuries, which were not considered critical.

EVERETT — A woman was injured Sunday morning after being assaulted at Clark Park in north Everett.

The attack reportedly happened around 9 am, when Everett Police Department officers found a woman in her 20s with injuries that were not critical, a spokesperson said. She was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center.

Soon after arriving at the park at 2400 Lombard Ave., they found the suspect, also a woman in her 20s. She was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of assault and robbery.

After officers investigated, the park reopened.
