The first round of the NHL Draft begins Friday night at 8:00 p.m. ET and concludes the most unusual draft season.

We start with the biggest question: who will the Buffalo Sabers pick with the # 1 pick in the draft. Most predict Michigan defender Owen Power as the best candidate in this class.

That top perspective includes center Matthew Beniers and winger William Eklund. Either of these two is likely the Seattle Kraken franchise’s first draft pick.
