What’s Open Open On Christmas Day In Everett, Washington

From a couple of years ago at The Totem Diner (which is not open today)

From the Editor: Took a brief spin around Everett, Washington around 1 PM to see what was open and this is by no means a comprehensive list.

The four Safeway stores in Everett are open and quite busy (WalMart, QFC and Fred Meyer closed)

Our favorite convenience store, the Corner Grocery at Madison and Beverly Boulevard is open (as are many of the other smaller markets in Everett

IHOP at Evergreen and Everett Mall Way was one of the few sit-down restaurants open and they were extremely busy. Also saw many Thai and Chinese restaurants open as well as a few of the major fast food restaurants

Many of the independent coffee stands are open around Everett

Pacific Ice Skating Rink was operating at the Port of Everett

Again, not a comprehensive list and more places may open this evening but you may want to call ahead if you have a specific place you intend to go.

A reminder that since Christmas fell on a Sunday many things will also be closed Monday including local, State and Federal Government offices, many banks the post office and several stores have posted on their windows they will also be closed until Tuesday.
