Western Oregon men’s soccer drops season finale at home to Seattle Pacific, 1-0

MONMOUTH, OR— The Western Oregon men’s soccer team dropped its final match of its first season 1-0 to Seattle Pacific on Thursday at the WOU Turf Field.

The Wolves (2-13-2 overall, 1-10-1 GNAC) battled tough against the Falcons (7-5-6, 6-2-3), but a goal in the 48th minute by Aidan Thrall off of a corner from Connor Tollan was the difference.

WOU was outshot 19-7 in the contest, including 7-1 on shots on goal.

Jayden Cameron led the team with three shots. Juan Suarez was stellar in goal, picking up six saves – including several diving stops.

The Wolves have no seniors on the roster and everyone is eligible to return.
