West Seattle Blog… | HANUKKAH: Community celebrations in West Seattle next weekend

Tonight is the first of eight nights of Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish festival of lights. Two community celebrations are planned in West Seattle, both this coming Sunday (December 5th):

POP-UP HANUKKAH: Synagogue in West Seattle Kol HaNeshama invites everyone to this year’s Junction Plaza Park (42nd / Alaska) at 5 p.m. on Sunday Pop up Hanukkah Party with menorah lights, music and donuts.

Hanukkah you can touch: Stream Jewish Community Center will be with the West Seattle Farmers’ Market Sunday 10 am-2pm “Celebrate the holiday with handicrafts and delicacies”.

DONATION TRIP: By the end of Hanukkah, Kol Haneshamah is collecting “warm hats, gloves, socks and scarves for our neighbors in need in West Seattle. Please deliver new or used items to KHN at 6115 SW Hinds Street by December 5th. “
