The vaccination situation again tops the headlines of today’s pandemic:

SCHOOL PROCLAMATION: No updates today from Public schools in Seattle or the Seattle Education Association in terms of what they plan to do in response Governor Inslee‘s orders that schools soon offer personal tuition to all students. LATEST KING COUNTY NUMBERS: No King County update yesterday, so these are two days worth of numbers in the daily summary of Seattle-King County Public Healthrepresenting the changes since Saturday:

* 84,303 people tested positive, 272 more than on Saturday in total

* 1,437 people have died, unchanged from Saturday’s total

* 5,180 people were hospitalized, 5 more than Saturday’s total

* 933,980 people were tested, 6,654 more than on Saturday

A week ago this was 83,196 / 1,416 / 5,147 / 918,491.

EVICTION MORATORIUMS EXTENDED: Mayor Durkan has extended the moratoria on the evacuation of residential and commercial buildings for a further three months until the end of June.

GUARANTEED LAWYER FOR RENTERS? The city council has postponed the vote on ensuring legal representation of tenants facing eviction by two weeks. The bill sponsor, councilor Kshama Sawantwas not happy.

PARKING RULES: Today the mayor also announced that the one-year suspension of the 72-hour parking limit will end on April 1st, despite some other changes such as B. short-term pick-up zones in front of restaurants and other companies, for the time being.
