The weekend is almost here. And with Pedalpalooza, it’s time to start planning your cycling strategy. Here is our delicious menu of rides selected from our calendar.

Friday 23rd July

Katy Perry & Taylor Swift Ride – 7:00 p.m. at Irving Park (NE)
“Let’s get together for a super fun Pedalpalooza-style ride that starts in Irving Park near the playground and ends at a TBD magic shop. I’ll bring the sick beats and you bring your best KP & TS clothes and some really bad dance moves. ”More info here.

Buck Naked Full Moon Ride – 7:30 p.m. at Colonel Summers Park (SE)
“Celebrate the Buck Moon with us by riding buck naked through the city … we celebrate the full moon with body positivity and a full moon naked ride! We want to promote and support non-sexualized nudity, body positivity, reducing fuel addiction through cycling and simply having a wonderful time! Saturday July 24th

Clark County Ride – 7:00 a.m. Bike Clark County, Vancouver, WA
“Two beautiful routes through the scenic countryside of Clark County, Washington. This is the largest event of the Vancouver Bicycle Club in Vancouver, Washington, USA and is fully supported. ”More information here.

Durag and Bonnet Electric Bike Ride – 11:00 a.m. at Ladd Circle (SE)
“The bike tour invites black residents to explore the increasing ways electrification is transforming transportation mobility. The Durag and Bonnet E-Bike Ride is an opportunity for us to think about how to get around the city – without fossil fuels … This event is for Black Oregonians only. ”More info here.

East Portland Parks Ride – 11:30 am at Gateway Discovery Park (NE)
“Easy ride from park to park in East Portland. No loop, ends at Leach Botanical Gardens. The ride is free, as is admission to the Botanical Garden (although donations in the garden are requested where possible). Approximately 7 miles, with several options to take part in the ride or to split off from the ride. ”More information here.

Willy Wonka Ride – 7:00 p.m. at The Fields Park (NW)
“It’s time for a delicious ride! Come on, listen to great music, ride a bike; disguised as characters from Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. ”More information here.

Sunday 25th July

Climate Defender Family Ride – 9:30 a.m. in Kʰunamokwst Park (NE)
“Take part in our first personal event since Before Covid: a family-friendly, slow and gentle bike tour on the NE Going St. Greenway that ends at the King Farmers Market! Bring your children, your parents, your friends, your boom boxes and bells. Are you a climate protector? Wear a cape, mask, or make a costume that shows off your environmental superpowers! Pupperpalooza – 2:00 p.m. in Peninsula Park (N)
“We call on all fur lovers and their people to join the Corvidae Bicycle Club as we roll around town on a casual, sociable ride exploring some of Portland’s dog-friendly spots! You don’t need an animal to take part, just a bike and love for our Portland puppies. ”More information here.
