Vancouver Police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing autistic man

VANCOUVER, Washington (KPTV) – Vancouver police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing autistic man who was reported missing Friday afternoon.

Zachary Childers, 37, was last seen by a family member at the Goodwill Store on 6425 Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard.

Childers is autistic and forgets his name, where he lives, and gets excited when tired and hungry. He also has mental health problems and takes medication for medical problems.

He is wearing a light brown jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

Childers carries a wallet with his ID and address on it. He is 5’9 “and 225 pounds. He is bald with short brown hair and brown eyes.
