Valley rain and mountain snow … YES, I said snow !!!

A low pressure area will dip to the southeast, bringing a round of much-needed rain into the Pacific Northwest through Thursday, as well as mountain snow with winter weather advisories and warnings for central Idaho and western Montana through Friday morning. The cool and choppy weather lasts all weekend. Spokane is expected to have spotty showers on Sunday, and northern Idaho and western Montana are more likely to have showers in the east. The daily highs also stay on the cool side of our average in the mid-50s, before slowly bouncing back into the upper 60s over the weekend and next week’s 70s.
