ATLANTA – A reported threat forced some passengers traveling from Atlanta to Seattle to be late until Monday morning.
Atlanta police said a reported threat had searched a plane that was scheduled to leave Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at around 11 p.m. on Sunday evening. Police said passengers had flown out of the airfield and security teams swept through the plane with K-9s.
These passengers were rebooked for a flight on Monday morning.
Investigators did not disclose the exact nature of the threat and did not state that anything was found at the security checkpoint.
Nobody was injured.
