43-year-old man dies in fatal collision near 41st Street

EVERETT, WA (September 28, 2021) – 43 years old Thomas Ogden tragically died Tuesday morning after a fatal two vehicle accident on Rucker Avenue.

The accident occurred around 7:20 a.m. in the Rucker Avenue area near 41st Street.

Ogden was reportedly driving his white Nissan Frontier when he turned left at the intersection. There he was hit by a vehicle moving too fast.

Despite life-saving efforts, Ogden was pronounced dead on the spot. No other injuries have been reported and it is still not known whether drugs or alcohol contributed.

At this point, the officers did not provide any further information about the second vehicle. An active investigation is ongoing.
