Spokane Valley Police Department: No one hit in parking lot shooting, SUVs shot multiple times

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Spokane Valley Police Department is investigating a shooting in a parking lot where an SUV was hit multiple times.

Investigators said they do not believe anyone was shot at this time.

It started around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when a caller heard gunshots. A few minutes later, another caller said a full-size SUV looked like it had been shot multiple times in a parking lot on the 2100 block of North Pines Road.

Deputies said when they arrived at the scene they spoke to four people. Investigators said they found no one shot.

The Spokane Valley Police Department said that due to the nature of the shooting, major crime detectives were called in to help with the investigation.

Investigators said they don’t believe the shooting was accidental and they’re not sure what led up to it. They are asking anyone with information to help investigators by calling Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference number 10011928.
