Spokane Valley house on fire from broken Christmas lights

SPOKANE VALLEY, Washington – The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to a fire at 3:15 a.m. this morning near N Adams and E Rockwell Avenues

The flames have been extinguished, the investigators are currently looking for the cause of the fire. The house has suffered some damage, but the three adults living in the residence escaped unharmed with two dogs. Two cats in the family are currently missing.

According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, the fire had broken out near the front door of the house. According to the officials, the cause of the fire is probably faulty Christmas lights and decorations.
