Spokane Police shoots, kills suspect in what appears to be a car roaming around after exchanging gunfire
SPOKANE, Washington. – Spokane police said the officers were involved in a fatal shootout at around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The SPD said officials responded to a report of vehicles frolicking. When they got to the scene, the suspect, a grown man, was sitting in a victim’s car armed with a firearm. Police said there was an exchange of fire when they arrived.
The victim informed the police that the suspect was in their vehicle and pointed a gun at them when the victim confronted the suspect.
Police said after the suspect was shot they tried life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, but the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred near 500 S Cannon in Spokane.
No officers were injured in the incident.
