Spokane Historic Preservation Office accepts applications for a grant to improve the facade

SPOKANE, Wash. – Do you have a historic building that needs to be refurbished? Well, the Spokane Historic Preservation Office has announced that it will offer the grant to upgrade the historic preservation facade for a third cycle.

Selected applicants will receive grants of up to $ 5,000 to renovate historic facades. On their website, they stated that all properties listed on the Spokane Register of Historic Places and in the city of Spokane are eligible for application.

The program was introduced in 2019 through a revision of the city’s monument protection ordinance.

Applications are due by Tuesday, June 15. Interested parties can find more information on how to apply on their website.
