Simone Biles in the final of the women’s gymnastics group at the Tokyo Olympics, Tokyo

Simone Biles has withdrawn from the women’s gymnastics team final at the Tokyo Olympics.

According to NBC, the four-time gold medalist competed in her first rotation while jumping on Tuesday, July 27th. After landing, however, Biles was seen leaving the competition area with a trainer. While Biles was next to compete on the uneven bars, she became her teammate Jordan Chile stood up for them. NBC reports that Biles later returned with warm-up exercises.

“Simone has withdrawn from the team final because of a medical problem,” USA Gymnastics said in a statement Tuesday. “It will be examined daily to determine medical clearance for future competitions.”

The US women’s gymnastics team won the silver medal while Biles cheered on friends and fellow athletes. Russia took the gold medal and Great Britain won silver.

That news comes just a day after Biles spoke on social media about the pressure of the games after the preliminary rounds. “It wasn’t an easy day or my best day, but I got through it,” she wrote. “I really feel at times that I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.”
