Both the south and north sides of Everett Turnpike in Merrimack were closed late Thursday evening due to a serious crash. As the state police announced, several vehicles were involved. Traffic was blocked for miles while crews worked to clear the scene. Shortly after midnight, a lane was opened again on the north side.
