Seattle Storm to celebrate Pride Night presented by AT&T on June 22

Force4Change launches an exclusive line of Pride merchandise, with proceeds going to Lambda Legal and Force 10 Ownership of up to $ 25,000

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm will host AT & T’s Pride Night on Tuesday, June 22nd, which competes against the Washington Mystics at Angel Of The Winds Arena in Everett, WA. The game will be released on JOEtv at 7:00 p.m. PT. Proud night is an event under the storm Force4Change Platform and will highlight advocacy and support for the transgender community – with a special focus on their youth.

The Storm is launching a line of Pride merchandise on June 11th and will donate the proceeds from the sales Lambda Legal– The largest national legal organization advocating the recognition of the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through litigation, education and political work. Income from merchandise sales is not the only source of financial contributions to the Storm’s Pride celebration, however.

Force 10 hoops– Seattle Storm’s all-female owner group – will raise up to $ 25,000 of the final amount raised through sales of merchandise through the Storm Foundation and Force4Change. AT&T will add $ 5,000 to the total amount from the sales and the Storm front office will add an additional $ 1,500 gift.
