Ronald Everett Biggers was received into the presence of Jesus on June 1, 2022, at the Manchester Center.
He was born on May 11, 1945, to Marcus and Ella Margaret Biggers in Paris, Tx. Ronald attended Rosa Parks Elementary School, Paris High School, he also attended Central State College in Edmond, Ok., and seminary at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. From the age of 16-27 he worked in the funeral business. In 1972 Ronald received Christ as his Savior, soon after he surrendered to preach and attended Liberty University. He was the administrator of several Christian schools and pastored churches in Virginia, South Carolina, George and Tennessee. In his later years, Ronald worked as custodian at Grace Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and with Chattanooga Funeral Home before he went to the Tree of Life Residential Care.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Ella Margaret Biggers, daughter, Miriam Elizabeth Morrow and son-in-law, Lee Ollanketo.
Ronald is survived by his former wife, Anelia Kay Biggers, daughters, Stephanie (John) Davis, Melissa Locke, Melanie Ollanketo, grandchildren, Kaylee Davis, Jenna Davis, Hudson Locke, Destiny Locke, Kendall Ollanketo, Christian Ollanketo and Sarah Kay Morrow.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 7, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9 am until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Ronald will be laid to rest at a later date at Meadowbrook Memorial Park in Paris, Tx.
