Reimagine Everett brings music to Main Street |

Reimagine Everett hosted a free concert Friday night. While listening to Queen City Funk & Soul was free of charge, vendors were set up with the majority selling food.

Reimagine Everett honored the Everett baseball and softball teams for the recent performances this season. The softball team was undefeated until a loss at state quarterfinals and the baseball team became state champions. Reimagine Everett donated $500 to the baseball team.

Around 6:45 pm, Reimagine Everett had sold an estimated 350 hamburgers according to Chair Ken Tewell. The group also sold hot dogs, beer and wine slushies.

“We couldn’t be happier. Look around at all these smiling faces. People I don’t even know came up and started volunteering. Where do you see that,” said Tewell.

Reimagine Everett is fundraising for the renovation of the Everett Theater on Main Street. The group needs to fundraise $100,000 for a PA Keystone Historic Construction match grant. Donations can also be made at https://givebutter.com/reimagine-everett.
