Region’s Newest Slab Gallery open in Burlington – Everett Post

Stone Pros, Inc. – provider of luxury countertops and kitchen and bath design services – will celebrate the official grand opening of its flagship location and 13,000 square foot indoor slab gallery on Monday, August 1st with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, light refreshments, and an open house. The community is invited to attend the family-friendly event between 2-5pm at 401 E. Sharon Avenue in Burlington. Members of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce will kick off the festivities with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2pm.

This is the newest kind of gallery in the region, with it also being the biggest slab gallery north of Seattle. While the slab gallery is in Burlington and is now the company’s flagship location, the company also has an office in Everett, where they previously conducted business for Snohomish County for five years prior to their relocation.

The slab gallery is expansive with 40-foot ceilings with rows of full-size countertop slabs. The gallery also showcases smaller remnant slabs for designers, contractors, or homeowners to come, touch, feel, and select from the floor or order through Stone Pros. “We are very excited for our new opening, we want to give our customers a visual and hands-on experience with our products,” said owner Glenn Schiff. With hundreds of full-size and remnant pieces of luxury countertop slabs lining the gallery, visitors can get a firsthand look at the exact piece of material that will be used for their design project in its raw form before being cut to size in Stone Pros’ adjacent fabrication shop.

Stone Pros slab products are sourced from Stratus Surfaces in Seattle, with their offered products ranging from Quartzite, Porcelain, Granite, Marble, and many other options. “This type of gallery takes the guesswork out of the design for folks that are more visual and want to physically see and emotionally connect with what they are purchasing before install day,” said Shiff. Stone Pro’s fabrication shop sits adjacent to the slab gallery and is where all the design templates are taken, cut, and prepared for delivery to the client. Laser measurements are taken for the customers desired project, which are then used by the Stone Pros team to carefully cut and size the slabs. “We have an all in one, start to finish, type of company. We can also include housing materials and offer design services to fabrication and installation” added Ship.

With high ceilings, an exorbitant amount of natural light, and a family-friendly vibe that is welcoming and comfortable, Stone Pros has intentionally created a space that invited positive energy and endless creativity. The scent of freshly popped popcorn fills the gallery every morning and beautiful wooden tables for seating are plentiful, encouraging visitors to linger, brainstorm, and take their time when searching for the perfect slab or material for their project.
