Reginold ‘Reggie’ McMurdo | Whitefish pilot

Reginold Wayne McMurdo died on October 16, 2021 at Logan Health Medical Center.

He was born to David Rex McMurdo and Vera Fern Everhart of Whitefish.

Reggie grew up in Whitefish and attended school where he graduated from Whitefish High School with the class of ’63.

He became an electrician and joined the IBEW Brotherhood of Electricians Union Local 768. He was a member for over 50 years. He was a sales representative for nine years. He worked across the state of Montana and other states.

Reggie was well known for building rails and hot rods. He lived on his property in Whitefish, where his friends would gather in his shop to maintain camaraderie, work on cars, and tell great stories. He was a generous person to everyone and he loved his friends.

In his first marriage, his children Wendy Sue, Keven James and Jessie Allen were born.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Wendy and son, Reggie Allen McMurdo of Whitefish, brother Martin (Ty) of Vancouver, Washington, grandson Jessie Jacob McMurdo, great-grandchildren Luke Joseph and Eric James, and his niece and nephew Kelsey and Conner McMurdo. Reggie also wants me to mention his beloved constant companion, his four-legged friend Tiki.

Jessie preceded his father David Rex McMurdo, mother Vera Fern Everhart, daughter Wendy Sue and son Keven James in death.

There will be a memorial to Reggie on December 4th at 3pm at the VFW in Whitefish

Instead of flowers, we would like a donation to the women’s aid station at VFW Post 276.
