Reeths-Puffer shuts out Lansing Everett, 35-0

LANSINGThe Reeths-Puffer Rockets defense pitched their first shutout of the year with a 35-0 road win over Lansing Everett on Friday night.

The Rockets were originally supposed to play Holland in Week 9, but they shut down their season after the fourth game. Buffer then added Everett.

Brady Ross completed 8-of-11 passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns. Ross also ran for 55 yards on nine carries. Brody Johnson was dominant on the ground with 17 carries for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Tayte Vanderleest caught five passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

Caiden Bolduc led the way defensively for the Rockets with 16 tackles. Tyviea Williams added 11 tackles while recovering a fumble and returning it 55 yards for a score. Bryce Ross had four tackles and an interception.

Reeth’s Buffer finished with a record of 6-3, 4-3 in the OK Green.
