Nice view from Mt Spokane Wednesday morning
MT SPOKANE – Operations at Mt Spokane were suspended Thursday morning due to a power outage.
A significant storm brought a lot of snow to the northwest of the country, causing utility disruptions, harsh road conditions and school closings.
In a Facebook post, mountain operators said they are working quickly with service providers to identify the problem and set a schedule for fixing it. The mountain cannot start operating until the problem is resolved.
But there is good news: the mountain is getting a lot of snow! Mt. Spokane has received four inches of snow since Wednesday, and more is on the way for Thursday.
