EVERETT – Police are looking for a man accused of shoveling a former roommate over the head, resulting in serious injuries that required hospitalization.

Sable Rodriguez, 32, is charged with a first-degree attack as a result of the Sunday afternoon attack, Everett police wrote in a press release. They are looking for information about his whereabouts.

Rodriguez returned to the house on the 7500 block on Juniper Drive, where he had been evicted by his roommates “due to decreased mental stability and increased erratic, dangerous behavior,” police said.

Police claim Rodriguez attacked a roommate with a metal tool and later with the shovel the victim used to try to defend himself. Rodriguez fled when other roommates called 911.

The victim was taken to Everett Providence Regional Medical Center.

Rodriguez was last seen driving a dark green 2000cc Honda Civic with chrome wheels and a loud exhaust. The license plate is BSE8147.

Police described Rodriguez as a transient known to visit Kent, Seattle and Everett. He is considered a danger to others because of his mental state, Everett police wrote.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Everett Police Department at 425-257-8450.
