Person shot in the head in downtown Spokane shooting

SPOKANE, Wash. – A person was shot in the head inside a downtown Spokane apartment early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened around 6 am at the Coeur d’Alene Plaza apartments on N. Howard.

Spokane Police said they had to force their way into the building.

Police say this incident happening inside an apartment unit.

One person is detained and the injured person is in the hospital.
