Penny Million Obituary (2022) – Everett, WA

Our beloved mom & Nana Penny (82) passed peacefully as she set her heart towards eternity early dawn 7/30. A fun, loving person & friend to those she’d meet. She treasured her three daughters, was a devoted mother who shared her long life with all her children, numerous grandchildren & greats! She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious & social personality and her silly quick wit always kept people laughing!

She graduated Everett HS “57” where she met lifelong friends and never missed a class Reunion! After graduating Dental School (Dental Assistant & Office Manager career), she & girlfriends moved to San Francisco, Ca before her return to NW in “62” to marry & raise a family. Penny liked to celebrate life. She was a league bowler, tennis, skier & golfer. To avid “12 Hawks” & Seattle sports fan; she enjoyed boating, gardening, reading, art, animals & music & especially Elvis! Her adventurous spirit took her on many travels & move to Hawaii (with all her daughters) in “86” after the passing of her beloved brother “Corporal Marine Richard John Million II”. She was also predeceased by her parents Richard J. Million & Mable O. Olson Million.

Penny was a woman of great strength & inner wisdom who always tried helping others. As a young girl she attended a local church where early seeds of faith carried her for decades. Her tenacious ability to overcome life’s storms was inspiring! Finally, when it was her time to go & surrounded by her family, she peacefully embraced her Heavenly Father’s loving arms into her Eternal Home.

She is survived by her children; Lori Oneal (Tracy) Granberg; Leanne Oneal and Kellie (Jason) Partington. grandchildren; Katie & Michael Berman, Luke Partington; JJ, Amanda, Shannon, Rebecca, Rachel & Tonia Riddle Granberg. Numerous Granberg great grandchildren & and three great greats!!!

Truly she was our “One in a Million”! Always and forever you are ever loved!
