Pamplin Media Group – RV Inn Style Resorts breaks ground in Estacada

The new park will bring outdoor enthusiasts to Estacada and Milo McIver State Park.

Estacada will soon be home to a new RV Inn Style Resort after a groundbreaking event on Wednesday, June 1, to celebrate the beginning of development.

RV Inn Style Resorts is a company based out of Vancouver, Washington, which offers 15 RV parks throughout Washington and Oregon.

The groundbreaking brought a large contingent of the company, including CEO Matt Gagliasso, co-owners Mike and Denise Werner, along with Estacada city officials and the company’s Sasquatch-inspired mascot.

The Estacada park will offer 100 spaces for RV hookup and is located next to Milo McIver State Park, off Highway 224. Visitors will have access to the state park’s many outdoor activities like hiking, biking, fishing and kayaking on the Clackamas River.

“What we are is a company that is selling fun,” Mike Werner said. “We are trying to bring families into these fantastic spaces.”

The idea to locate an RV park in Estacada came to Estacada Bark and Nursery owner Alan Rademacher. Witnessing the amazing natural environment around him every day, Rademacher wanted others to experience what the area had to offer.

So, he sold a portion of his land to RV Inn Style Resorts to start construction on a new RV park in his backyard.

Although the RV park won’t be completed in quite some time, Werner said its presence will provide a large boost in tourism for the city of Estacada.

“You know, as of now, we are building about six more locations during the summer,” Werner said. “It’s very exciting time.”
